Why I Offer This
Folk tradition emerges from the real needs of people, using what they have available for whatever situations they find themselves in.
The ability to take action, in whatever way one can, is a driving force within folk tradition. Many aspects of Trolldom have been shaped in response to the severity of nature and history.
It is important to remember this aspect of the tradition and uphold it through doing something about the very real needs and situations that people find themselves in today.
Need-based work is one way of keeping that aspect of the tradition alive.
